This privacy policy explains how the Arrivo mobile application ("we", "us", "the app") collects, uses, and protects user information. Your privacy is very important to us, and we are committed to transparent data handling.

By using the Arrivo app, you accept the terms described in this privacy policy.

2. Information We Collect

Our app is designed with privacy in mind and DOES NOT COLLECT, STORE, or SHARE any personal user data such as:

• Name, surname, or email address
• Phone number
• Home address
• Payment information
• Contacts or photos
• Search or travel history
• Any other identifying information

The app only uses technical data necessary for functionality, which is processed locally on your device.

3. Location Usage

The app may request access to your GPS location exclusively for:

• Displaying your current position on an interactive map
• Finding nearest public transport stations
• Better user experience during navigation
• Displaying distance to stations

Your GPS location:

• Is used ONLY locally on your device
• Is NOT sent to our servers
• Is NOT saved or stored
• Is NOT shared with third parties
• Can be disabled in your device settings at any time

Location access is completely optional - the app will still function without this permission, but certain features (such as "My Location" and "Nearest Stations") will not be available.

4. Public Transit Data

The app displays public transportation data obtained from the public API service Javni Prevoz KS. This data includes:

• Public transport vehicle schedules (trams, trolleybuses, buses)
• Real-time GPS positions of vehicles
• Information about stations, routes, and lines
• Estimated arrival times

All this data is publicly available and contains no personal user information. Data is retrieved directly from the API service and displayed in the app without storage.

5. Mapbox Services

The app uses Mapbox Maps SDK for displaying interactive maps. Mapbox may collect certain technical data necessary for providing mapping services, such as:

• Device IP address
• Device type and operating system version
• Map usage data (zoom level, panning, interactions)
• Map performance analytics

This data is collected and processed directly by Mapbox in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not have access to or control over this data.

6. Local Data Storage

The app uses local storage on your device (SharedPreferences) only for:

• Saving your settings (e.g., selected theme - light/dark)
• Remembering display preferences (e.g., legend visibility on map)
• Improving user experience between app sessions

This information never leaves your device and is automatically deleted when you uninstall the app.

7. Cookies

The app does not use cookies since it is a mobile application, not a website. All settings are stored locally using operating system mechanisms.

8. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We DO NOT SHARE, SELL, or RENT your personal data to any third party for marketing, advertising, or other commercial purposes.

Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to share. The only data that may be processed by third parties:

• Technical data processed by Mapbox services (see section 5)
• Public transit data from Javni Prevoz KS API service

9. Advertising and Analytics

The app DOES NOT CONTAIN:

• Advertisements or marketing materials
• Tracking tools
• Third-party analytics (Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, etc.)
• Any mechanisms for collecting user behavior data

10. Data Security

Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, the risk of unauthorized access, leakage, or misuse of data is minimal.

All data stored locally on your device (app settings) is protected by operating system security mechanisms (iOS, Android).

While we strive to ensure security, no method of data transmission over the internet or electronic storage method is 100% secure.

11. Children's Rights

The app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age. The app is designed for general use and does not contain content unsuitable for children.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has used the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate measures.

12. Your Rights

As a user of the Arrivo app, you have the right to:

• Disable or enable location access at any time in device settings
• Use the app without granting location access
• Delete all locally saved data by uninstalling the app
• Reset app settings
• Request additional information about the privacy policy
• Ask any questions regarding your privacy
• Report concerns or privacy violations

13. Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or our business practices.

You will be notified of any significant changes through the app or via email (if you have voluntarily shared your email address). The "Last updated" date at the top of this document will be updated with each change.

14. International Locations

The app is primarily intended for users in Bosnia and Herzegovina, specifically Canton Sarajevo. If you access the app from other jurisdictions, local data protection laws will apply.

15. Jurisdiction and Applicable Laws

This privacy policy is applied and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Any dispute arising from the use of the app will be resolved in accordance with the legal system of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
